Another year, another sale. First up some bad news, there is not a single GPU deal that I could find on Amazon during this sale. Now onto some actual sales that are ACTUALLY at the lowest prices and not just markup then down style.
Thermal Grizzly PhaseSheet PTM 50×40 mm – $11.50
Insane cooling capability! Literally the best thing I could have done for my 3090’s thermals which I redid them all a month ago. No matter how hard I run them the cannot get past 80c. Amazing results, highly recommend for ALL GPU DIE needing service. When should you service? In a nutshell only outside of warranty period, and then only if you see temps approaching 90c uncontrolled. If you see fans running 100% but temps “appearing” okay but also the GPU is getting down clocked frequently and in big swings.

Thermal Grizzly Duronaut 6g – $16
Always get the bigger size of pastes when you can. Annoying to run out in a few uses.

30 Pack Thermal Pads, 20×67mm variety 0.5 | 1 | 1.5 | 2 | 3 mm – $7
Getting a proper fit is critical and repadding even older things you may not think about like SAS HBA’s, small GPUs, NICs and basically anything that is over 4 years old is a great idea. Especially NICs! I was shocked when I saw how bad the pad was on my Mellanox CX-4 100GbE nics. Basically cooked. Having a wide variety is critical to fit whatever size needs replacing. These are not for insane thermal control like VRM/VRAM.

Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad High Compression 2X – $18.50
VRAM, VRM and other high temp items padding.

Digital Caliper Pad Measuring Tool – $8
I paid more then this by a lot and really for something I do not use all the time I should have gone for the cheapest. Critical for getting proper MM measurements for thermal pads and other clearances.

Thermalright TFX 2g – $8
I didn’t mention it in the video when I repadded the dies on my 3090s but 2 years prior when I first cleaned and repasted my 3090s I had ran an experiment and used 2 different pastes on them. The 2 that did not exhibit crazy thermal issues that could hit 90c both had been done with this Thermalright TFX, the other two which did have issues and horrible pump out had been arctic MX-4 paste. Neither would be a recommendation for a 3090 class heat but you might find this interesting otherwise it really is a good thermal paste product.

10GbE Gen 4 x1 Network Card – $45
Finally we have cheap 10Gbit nics if you have Gen4 x1 wide slots! I need to upgrade some 2.5Gbit ones.

PC Test Bench PC Case – $14.50
I love these things. Open air, easy to work on, ridged and highly supportive without flex for a motherboard. I own two and might just end up with a third. Makes testing and troubleshooting very fast vs a trad case.

250mm PCIe 4.0 x16 GPU Riser – $29
Finally Gen 4 Risers are coming back down in prices. For 250mm this is a good pick.

6 Fan 12V 4-Pin PWM Fan Controller – $10.50
If you have an open frame rack for lots of GPUs you may have a lot of fans, more then you have motherboard headers for. This is an easy, sata powered way to control 6 additional fans manually.

8-Pin to 8-Pin Right Angle Adapters – $9
I use these in my Dell Precision so I can close the case still on my 3060s. Really a problem solver for that.

Not tech related but still fun
There is an oddball, possibly kinda glitching this 4K UHD media sale. While it says 2 for 25, I ended up getting several for 8-11 each. Add anything you are interest in into the cart then get all the way to the end at checkout and it will display what appears to be a double discount. From that screen you can remove any you don’t want and somehow the rest will dynamically reprice. It’s weird, but a really good deal if you like physical media still and are interested in any of those titles.
